Name:

We have been married for a little over a year and are loving it in spite of all the ups and downs. We are attempting to go back to school, (both of us!) Caleb for a math teaching degree, and Rachel for English communications. We have also been working full time which has been a challenge. Rachel is a nanny and a photographer (when she gets jobs!) and Caleb is a carpenter.

We are hanging on by a thread this week! Both our cars were ready to be sold when the transmission went on one, and all the brakes on the other! We are trying to pack up our apartment and put everything into storage in the next couple of days before we leave for Guinea.

Caleb's sister Ruth had a baby this week! Kira Elaine, 5 pounds 8 ounces. We have still to meet the little munchkin but we are looking forward to seeing her when we get back from Africa.

In spite of the craziness of the last few months, (Rachel had a miscarraige so our trip to Africa was on, then off then on again. We are learning the hard way that God is sovereign and His plan is always better then our own.) we are really looking forward to serving in Guinea for a little while, and before that looking forward to a visit from Caleb's parents who are coming to help us move.

We appreciate your prayers as we try to get all our T's crossed this week.

Rachel and Caleb
